At last the Srinagar-Leh highway, that links the Ladakh region to the rest of the country, has been opened for vehicular traffic after five months. This route is opened for half as year. Working against the odds in a tough terrain, the Border Roads Organisation was successful in clearing the snow-blocked roads to open the highway. The BRO is assigned with the task of clearing the snow-bound stretch across the 11,578-foot high Zojila pass, which lies on the lower depression of the Himalayan range, along the 434 kilometre Srinagar-Kargil-Leh Highway. The highway had earlier been closed for traffic after the Zojila pass had experienced heavy snowfall and avalanches over the past five months. The strategic 434 Km long Srinagar - Kargil - Leh National Highway (NH-1D) was thrown open to vehicular traffic today in a simple yet important ceremony presided by Lt Gen Subrata Saha, GOC Chinar Corps. Last year the highway was opened to vehicular traffic on the same day ie 13 May 2014. This year, despite the heavy snowfall during Feb - Mar 2015 (caused due to the Westerly disturbance), the snow clearance operations commenced on 18 March 2015 and was completed in the first week of May 2015. This was followed up by trials for both light and heavy vehicles to ensure that the road was fit in all respects.The strategic and economic importance of this road which, besides boosting tourism in Kashmir & Ladakh, also serves as a lifeline to the entire Ladakh Region. Its importance to the tourism sector is significant as it provides land connectivity through some of the most breathtaking terrain in the Nation.

Kashmir and "stapled visa"
Prime minister Mr. Narender Modi is on China tour now days. Once again stapled visa issue is on hot street. Kashmiri peoples need general visa for China as every Indian gets, but China is still not agree for that. To travel China they (J&K people) depend upon STAPLED VISA. While Mr. Modi is on China tour, Ex Chief minister of Jammu Kashmir Mr. Omar Abullaha wrote on Micro bloging site Twitter, `I hope PMO INDIA is able to resolve the STAPLED VISA issue so that I can also visit the Terracotta Army and Great wall of china.' This pain is not only of Omar but every Kashmiri's. They have Indian Passport but China is not ready to accept them as Indian nationality. While whole world accepted this true, but China dont wants to sulky Pakistan. Anyway Hope for better in future, May China understand the pain of every Kashmiri's.

Happy to see foreign tourist
Jammu Kashmir's Chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was happy to see foreign tourist in Pahalgam area. He met them with warm hearted and asked that are they happy with facilities in tourist destination. In an effort to project Pahalgam as one of Valley’s premier eco-destinations, Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed took a series of on-spot decisions including uninterrupted power supply to the bowl, promoting Aru as a ‘Lavender Village’ and improving the intake capacity by establishing high-end tented accommodation to attract both domestic and overseas travellers. He said tourism sector cannot grow in isolation and its future lies in integration with the associated economies of the areas where tourism potential exists. Mufti Sayeed said this while undertaking a day-long tour of Pahalgam Resort during which he visited the Golf Course, Amusement Park, Aru, Pahalgam Club, Betaab Valley and the Circular Road. He also paid a visit to the Government Higher Secondary School, Pahalgam. Emphasizing upon linking tourism sector with growth of rural economies, Mufti Sayeed asked the Tourism Department to provide a sense of ownership to the local community in development of the resort and its suburbs. He stressed upon creating ample opportunities of employment for native inhabitants by working to build their capacities in tourism and hospitality sectors.
The Chief Minister went around the golf course and inspected the site for creating additional accommodation and developing a ski slope to the north of PGC, which will provide basic training to children and ski enthusiasts. The 18-hole Pahalgam Golf Course, with sprawling greens and fairways, is considered one of the most ideally located courses in the country. During his visit to Pahalgam Club, the Chief Minister was briefed about the present status of ongoing works on the project. He was informed that Pahalgam Club is being constructed as a multi-faceted recreational centre comprising health club, Auditorium, 24-room guest house block, swimming pool and open food court, which will be most suited for conference and convention tourism. The Club is expected to be completed by August this year.The Chief Minister also visited the Amusement Park, which is being maintained by the J&K Bank. He directed the Bank Chairman, Mushtaq Ahmad, to expedite the up-gradation of the Park which is a major attraction for children. To facilitate senior citizens, the Chief Minister also passed instructions for procuring three battery-driven carts in the Park. On reaching Aru, which is at a distance of 12 kilometres from Pahalgam Resort, Mufti Sayeed declared it as a ‘Lavender Village’ for which the Agriculture Department was directed to take necessary steps. He interacted with several domestic and overseas tourists at Aru, which is considered one of the most picturesque spots in the Pahalgam valley. So, to attract tourist Mufti is going on right track.

Capacity 42, traveling 72 and died 24
In a major accident in Jammu Kashmir, A bus overloaded with passengers rolled down into a 300 ft. deep George in which 24 passengers lost there lives. In this accident, once again loophole of Traffic lime lighted. Capacity of bus was only 42 passengers, but while accident 72 passengers were traveling. Traffic Police is taking how easy with life of peoples. Whether they ignored there duty or for some rupee they close there eyes on this buses. One senior Police officer says that due to unavailable of one bus on this route, so many passengers were traveling on this bus. On this incident Prime minister of India, Mr Narendera Modi and Chief minister of J&K Mr, Mufti Mohammed Sayeed expressed grief over the loss of life in the road accident and issued instructions to provide necessary help required to the victims. They also conveyed there condolence to the families of the deceased. Even Prime minister tweeted on micro blogging site Twitter that “Disturbing news from J-K. Bus accident in Udhampur has saddened me. My thoughts are with families of the deceased. Prayers with the injured,” With this Government finished his job. No action against Traffic Police, RTO or Police officer. When we will alert?
J&K : Court seeks Farooq's response
Multi-crore scam in the Jammu Kashmir cricket association again highlighted, when
Jammu and Kashmir High Court sought response from former Chief Minister and JKCA president Farooq Abdullah on a public interest litigation (PIL) filed in this matter. The court has also asked the J&K Police, who is probing the case, to submit a status report on next hearing on 19th may 2015. A division bench of the High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice D S Thakur issued a notice to Abdullah on a PIL filed by a former state Ranji team player Majid Yaqoob Dar and club cricketer Nisar Ahmad Khan.
The petitioners have alleged that crores of rupees were swindled by the office-bearers of the JKCA who used it for personal gains instead of promoting the game in the state. J&K Police also registered a case against two former officials of JKCA, the then treasurer Ehsan Mirza and then General Secretary Mohammad Saleem Khan. Dr. Farooq already denied in this regards, but court wants some clarification on this case from his side as a President of JKCA.

When cow not came to appear in Examination
Number of media person were waiting outside of Government Degree College, Bemina (Jammu Kashmir), where a cow suppose to appear in Professional entrance examination. where the paper was scheduled to take place at 10.00 AM, but returned disappointed when Bhat and his cow did not turn up for the examination. Acctually, a person got admit card for his brown cow to appear in exam. but he did not turn up with his cow at alloted centre. According to owner of the cow Abdul Rashid Bhat, he only wanted to convey a message to the authotity (BOARD OF PROFFESIONAL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION) about there loopholes and fault system.He Said, `I never wanted to make a mockery of the system.' In an attempt to expose the loopholes in Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination''s (BOPEE) online registration system, Bhat had managed to acquire an admit card for his cow to write the paper for admission to Diploma in polytechnical college. The admit card was issued by the BOPEE in the name of Kachir Gaaw (Brown Cow) which is supposedly daughter of Gura Dand (Red Bull). He said, `Had I gone ahead with my cow at exam centre, then there would be no difference between me and an animal. I would become a two-legged animal then.' The incident came to light on May 2 after opposition National Conference spokesperson Junaid Azim Mattu uploaded a copy of the admit card on micro-blogging site Twitter. BOPEE chairman Ghulam Hassan Tantray has ordered an inquiry into the incident.

Costudy and detention is part of there life. Out of 365 days in a year, they detained number of times. They run anti government activities and police detain them. This is the life story of Separatist JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik. On 8th may Malik and several of his aides were detained at Parimpora (Jammu Kashmir), when they were on way to Baramulla district. According to JKLF spokesman, Malik was detained by police near Parimpora in Srinagar on his way to north Kashmir. The spokesman said Malik was heading towards Baramulla along with some reliefs material for victims in old town Baramulla which was damaged in a blaze last week. but on the other hand Police officials refused to comment on Malik''s detention.
All is well in BJP-PDP coalition?
Now days BJP and PDP are running in one agenda, that they have to prove all is well in coalition government. Leaders of both the party knows only one sentence, they are not hungry of power but they allice for the development of Jammu Kashmir. National General Secretary (org) of BJP, Ram Lal during a closed door training workshop of the party MLA's and MLCs at Katra said, "We have entered into alliance with PDP in Jammu and Kashmir for development and welfare of the people and the state". People across the country had displayed their strong urge to give governance of the country to BJP by casting highest percentage of votes in its favor. "The same desire was repeated in Jammu and Kashmir when people from all the three regions polled maximum votes in our favour" Ram Lal said. He said that even though the party could not win a single seat in Kashmir and Laddakh but the polling trend was in favour of BJP. They alliance with PDP only to honour the will of the people. He said, "We are not power hungry but this alliance has been established for development". Opposition criticizing both the parties for alliance and blame that coalition is only for power. On the other hand PDP Chief Minister also says that they alliance with BJP on a common minimum programme for the development of state. Coalition government is running on CMP agenda.
Its again infiltration on LOC
Its again an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Jammu Kashmir, but Indian troops today foiled it successfully. Indian Army kulled a suspected militant who was in an army dress. After some break in infiltration at LOC, Pakistan's troops again violate ceasfire. A group of three to four militants in combat dress made a bid to infiltrate into the Indian side under the cover of firing by Pakistan troops in violation of ceasefire. While one militant was killed, others escaped back to Pakistan. It is believed that militants entered into Indian territory to either infiltrate into this side of LoC in Poonch or they could have come with a design to plant IEDs on patrolling track to target Army troop.
According to Army spokesperson Lt Col Manish Mehta, Barasingha Battalion of Army came under fire at Sunigali forward area of Mendhar sector at about 08.50 hours on Friday.
The troops, who were 300 metres inside Indian territory, took positions and retaliated, resulting in heavy exchanges with the suspected militants. One infiltrator was killed on the spot. From the encounter site, troops recovered a body of an alleged infiltrator besides one AK rifle, four magazines, 28 rounds, two hand grenades, one GPS besides among other items, Lt Col Mehta said. adding he was wearing combat dress and good quality trekking shoes.
On June 12, 2014, an Army jawan was killed and three others injured in a blast triggered by an IED attack by militants along LoC in Gambhir battalion area in Poonch district.

Kargil : Atlast Phutkal lake burst
An artificial lake burst in Kargil of Jammu Kashmir indiacates that we should take extra caution while playing with nature. On 6th May 2015, burst in Phutkal lake in Zanskar caused flood situation in the area and people rush to safer place. Authorities launch an evacuation operation in the affected villages. Due to immediate action, 2000-3000 inhabitants in the area taken to safer place and there is no report of casualties. But this incident arises question that how safe is our artificial lake on rivers. On December 31 last year, Phuktal suffered a blockade by a massive 200 feet high landslide dam, equivalent to the height of a 20-storey building, leading to the creation of an artificial lake extending more than 10 km. The area falls enroute to the famous Chadar trek that attracts tourists from across the world and the Nimo-Bazgo hydroelectric project in the adjoining Leh district also gets water from Phuktal river. National Disaster Responce Force came in action on time after danger alarm, which help in taking out inhabitants from danger area. In the meantime a high-level team of the state comprising of Chairman Legislative Council Haji Anayat Ali comprising of Cabinet Minster for PHE and Irrigation Sukhnandan Kumar, Cabinet Minster for Cooperatives Chering Dorjey and Vice Chairman KVIB and MLA Zanskar Aga Syed Baqir Razvi visited Leh and Kargil and conducted Aerial Riki of the areas affected due to the Floods after bursting of Phuktal Artificial Lake.

Counterfeit US dollars
After counterfeit Indian currency coming from Pakistan, now counterfeit US dollars are found in Kashmir. Three persons, allegedly carrying counterfeit US dollars, were arrested from Karan Nagar area of Srinagar (capital of Jammu-Kashmir). Mohammad Yousuf, Manzoor Ahmad Lone and Showket Hussain Chowdary were noticed to be moving in a suspicious manner by the police at Karan Nagar chowk. Police said, They were stopped for questioning and when police search of the trio led to the recovery of a large number of counterfeit US dollars from their possession.
A case was registered under various sections of Ranbir Penal Code and investigation has been taken up. Yousuf and Lone are residents of Handwara in north Kashmir''s Kupwara district, while Chowdary hails from Rajouri district in Jammu region.

She prayed whole night for Salman khan
75 years old Jaina Begum has no family relation with Bolywood star Salman Khan. but she prayed whole night for salman in Sakhi jain Dinwali dargah at Pahalgam (Jammu kashmir). She havn't taken meal too for 24 hrs. Reason is that, Salman adopted this family few days ago while shooting of film BAJRANGI BHAI JAAN at pahalgam. Family is very poor. Jaina Begum, leaving with her widow daughter and her four children, mostly dependent on beggery. When she met Salman and told her family problem, he had given assurance to her. Salman not only paid for construction of her house, but also assure her that he will take her 18 years old grandson to Mumbai and arranged job for him. Jaina told, he have full faith in her god and Salman will release soon. Her grandson Gowahar is also became very immotional after court verdict. He said I am ready to go Jail inplace of Salman Bhai. he is our MASIHA.
Dal lake : J&K Government's priority
Jammu Kashmir government is concentrating on tourism sector now days. Chief minister Mufti Mohammed Saeed, who have tourism ministry with himself, now trying to safe world famous Dal lake of Srinagar. Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) has warned the people against carrying out any kind of construction within 200 metres of Dal Lake. Illegal construction if undertaken be demolished by the defaulter at his own level or else the authority will be left with no option but to demolish the illegal structures so raised. The LAWDA issued the warning after it yesterday carried out a successful encroachment removal drive in the vicinity of holy Hazratbal Shrine, situated on the western shore of Dal Lake. The LADWA demolition squad, in coordination with Muslim Waqf Board, demolished 30 illegal kiosks and other constructions near the shrine.Besides Dal and Nigeen Lakes at the moment form the core areas of attention of the authority which has a whole time mandate to conserve and mange the Lakes under National Lake Conservation Plan.
What action taken against Masrat?
Division Bench of State High Court Comprising Justice Hasnain Masoodi and Justice Janak Raj Kotwal today in a Public Interest Litigation filed by two Practicing Advocates namely Sanjay Verma and Deeraj Choudhary, issued Notices to the State to tell what action they have taken till now against the Separatist Leaders Masrat Alam and Asiya Andrabi who had raised voice against the India till now.In a Public Interest Litigation filed by two practicing Advocates Sanjay Verma and Deeraj Choudhary with respect to the Publicity of the news by the news agency shall be restricted and the Board under Press council of India Act shall take steps under the Act for proper censorship over the news items. Division Bench after hearing Senior Advocate S.S.Lehar along with Advocate Aditya Sharma issued notice to the state which has been waived by P.S.Chandel and ASGI Sindhu Sharma and they have been directed to tell the Court within a Day that what sort of action they have taken against these separatist leaders till now. During the course of hearing Sr. Advocate S.S.Lehar along with advocate Aditya Sharma argued that the Rally was organized by the separatist leaders and only around 150-200 people and slogans were raised against India but news agencies have shown it as such Whole of the state is against India.Further they have argued that such news items creates law and order problem in the state and thus as the effect of these news the peace in the State has been disturbed. Division Bench directed the State to tell what steps they have taken within a Day time and matter has been posted for listing for day after tomorrow where state has to show what steps they have taken till now to curb such anti-national activities.

Still under huge Snow
When everywhere in India, temprature is increasing day by day, Ganderbal of Kashmir still facing problem of huge snow. No Roads, cut off from whole world in through road connectivity. Peoples are still in there houses, waiting for clearence of snow. Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal along with a team of officers visited Sonamarg and Gumri and took stock of the measures being carried out for snow clearance on Srinagar-Gumri road near zero point. Deputy Commissioner was told by Beacon Authorities that all the available men and machinery have been put in service for snow clearance near zero point. Deputy Commissioner directed the Beacon authorities to expedite the work of snow clearance on this road and ensure that the road is open for public at an earliest.Deputy Commissioner also instructed SDM Kangan and other concerned authorities not to allow any kind of vehicular movement until it is open for traffic.
Indo-China join hands
A ceremonial Border Personnel Meeting (BPM) on the occasion of International Labor Day was conducted on 01 May 15 at Chinese Side in Chushul Sector in Eastern Ladakh. The Delegations were led by Brigadier JKS Virk from the Indian Side and Senior Colonel Fanjun from the Chinese Side. Both the team leader join hands at Line of actual control, which is always in news for infiltration of Chinese troops.
The ceremonial border Personnel meeting was commenced with saluting of the National flag of China by both delegations. This was followed by the ceremonial address by both delegation leaders which was composed of exchange of greetings, wishes and vote of thanks and reflected the mutual desire of maintaining and improving relations of functional levels on the border. Thereafter, a cultural programme showcasing vibrant Chinese culture and traditional grandeur was organised , followed by sumptuous lunch.
Both the delegations interacted in a free, congenial and cordial environment. The delegations parted amidst feeling of friendship and commitment towards enhancing the exiting cordial relations and maintaining peace along the LAC. Both sides also expressed commitment to build on the mutual feeling of upholding the treaties and agreement singed between the governments of the two sides, to maintain peace and tranquility along the LAC. With this programe LAC will be calm, don't know.

Mufti Sayeed, who also holds the charge of Tourism Department, was speaking over a dinner thrown for a galaxy of leading film stars, producers and directors in Mumbai. Positive thing is that some of the biggest names of Bollywood film industry including Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Imtiaz Ali, Sudhir Mishra, Ramesh Sippy, Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandarkar, Rishi Kapoor, Pooja Bhat, Boney Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Kunal Khemu, Soha Ali Khan, Gulshan Grover, Sanjay Suri, Gul Panag attended the dinner organised by J&K Government. Asking the big production houses of the film industry to come back and experience the beauty of J&K again, the Chief Minister said anyone who visualizes an idea, the State has a location to offer. “People want to see the real beauty of Kashmir through your cameras. You become brand ambassadors of our tourism sector, which remains the backbone of our economy,” he said. Speaking on the occasion, many stars and filmmakers including Rishi Kapoor, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Irrfan Khan and Anupam Kher, shared their past experiences and future plans of making films in Kashmir. Mufti invites Dilip Kumar to Kashmir
J&K's Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today met the Bollywood thespian Dilip Kumar here today. Saira Banu, the wife of the iconic star, was also present on the occasion. During his meeting with Dilip Kumar, Mufti Sayeed enquired about his health and wished him a long life. He also invited Dilip Kumr and Saira Banu to visit Kashmir valley this summer. Describing him as one of the greatest actors of the Indian film industry, the Chief Minister recalled some of his memorable works in a career spread over six decades.

Bolywood's superstar Shahrukh Khan called on Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in mumbai today, During their meeting, Mufti Sayeed described Shahrukh Khan as a great and versatile actor who has portrayed wide array of roles in his long and memorable career.The Chief Minister took him down the memory lane when the Indian film industry used to shoot their films at popular locations of Kashmir valley. Mufti moots ‘Indian Davos’ in Gulmarg
Unveiling his plans to reposition J&K as country’s top tourist and all-season destination, J&K Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today said he cherishes to promote Gulmarg as India’s Davos, where country's top business and policymakers can hold annual summits to frame new strategies in economic development. He gave this clarion call from Mumbai’s famous Hotel Taj Lands End, where he held detailed interactive session with the country’s prominent tour and travel operators. The Chief Minister was flanked by the Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh and Minister for Finance and Culture, Dr. Haseeb A. Drabu.
Drawing a parallel between Davos in Switzerland, which holds annual summits of World Economic Forum (WEF), and Gulmarg, Mufti Sayeed said the valley’s premier resort has all the required paraphernalia to host the country’s business leaders and policymakers for similar economic summits. “Gulmarg is a world-famous tourist destination. We have state-of-the-art cable car, high-end hotels, skiing and heli-skiing activities and great road connectivity. I wish we host Indian Davos at Gulmarg,” he said while seeking cooperation from one and all to change the course of J&K and remove the trust deficits.
Acknowledging the role of tour and travel players in promoting J&K especially through the recent difficult times, Mufti Sayeed said the State needs to be projected on a much bigger canvas as it offers diversity in culture, rich heritage, range of climates from the sub-tropical terrains of Jammu to the cold deserts of Ladakh, and the stunning locales of Kashmir. “I thank the tour operators of Maharashtra and Gujarat who reposed faith in us through the hard times of early and mid Nineties,” the Chief Minister said, adding various steps have been taken to go for infrastructure upgrade in the State. The Chief Minister informed the participants of the Government’s plans to go in for public-private participation through tourism sector by making available public assets for private use. Promising to end the culture of red-tape and bureaucratic impediments, Mufti Sayeed assured the tour operators of doing business with ease in J&K. “This season, you will definitely find a discernible change in how you are facilitated,” he stated.
Drawing a parallel between Davos in Switzerland, which holds annual summits of World Economic Forum (WEF), and Gulmarg, Mufti Sayeed said the valley’s premier resort has all the required paraphernalia to host the country’s business leaders and policymakers for similar economic summits. “Gulmarg is a world-famous tourist destination. We have state-of-the-art cable car, high-end hotels, skiing and heli-skiing activities and great road connectivity. I wish we host Indian Davos at Gulmarg,” he said while seeking cooperation from one and all to change the course of J&K and remove the trust deficits.

Is Kashmir is returning in old days ?
Now days valley of Pahalgam is attracting everyone. Bollywood star Salman Khan is in valley for his film BJARANGI BHAI JAAN shooting from the last one week. Government is serious regarding his and team security. Government is giving a message to everybody that valley is now cool and peace. So it could attract tourist to valley, specially foreign tourist. Budgam area is in tense for the last few days, but then also Salu film shooting continues in Pahalgam. Anyway, this is a positive sign for Jannat of Universe.

Why you released Masarat Alam ?
After PDP-BJP government came to power in J&K, they released Masrat Alam, Which is opposed be everybody and alliance BJP too. Government says, decision of releasing Masarat taken before they came to power. But the question arise, when he announced for rally, why government not taken seriously. As everybody knows his comments are always anti Indian and pro Pakistan. Now Kashmir including main cities are burning. Masrat again taken to custody. Kashmir's present situation is not calm and normal. So at this situation again removing of AFSPA frm J&K is not right time.

Is J&K ready for revoke AFSPA ?

New government of Jammu Kashmir once again trying for revocation of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA). It is nothing new. This demand is being asked by all government's time to time. Whether It is Kashmir based political party National Conference or Peoples Democratic Party. After new government came to power, Chief minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed asked Central Govenment to revoke AFSPA. But on the other hand Army and Security agencies are not in favour of this. Few days ago Chief Minister Mufti Mohmmad Sayeed meets five top Commanders, including chiefs of Northern and Western Commands and 3 Corps commanders looking after the operational command of Jammu and Kashmir. After this meeting Army Chief General Dalbir Singh visited Udhampur-based Northern Command in Jammu and Kashmir and reviewed overall security situation of the State. Army Commander Lt Gen DS Hooda, who briefed him on the overall security situation in the Command theatre. The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) also interacted with other senior Commanders and discussed on that. The visit is more significant in view of Chief Minister Mufti Mohmmad Sayeed batting strongly for partial withdrawal of AFSPA from peaceful areas of J&K and chain of meeting with him by top Army commanders. Perhaps, everyone is asking, Is J&K ready for revoke AFSPA?

This is heaven in world ...beautiful valley .....So called jannat .....once a person reached there, he or she don't wants to return .....but now days no one wants to go there ......now days tulip in world famous garden of Srinagar in full swing ....calling the tourist .....but due to separatist activities .....no one takes risk ..... Government as well as ex chief minister Omar Abdullaha is requesting worldwide tourist to came there ,,,,but due to call of Kashmir Strike no rush of tourist in tulip garden. After some days peace ....when terrorist active ....no one knows ....so today number of hotels, shikaras n guest house are empty ..... every one knows that if tourist not come to Kashmir ..... they have to suffer economically .....but then also activities of terrorist and separatist are going ......in which direction Kashmir is forwarding?

Kashmiri Pandit's against opposition of township
Once again politics started on the name of Kashmiri Pandits return to Kashmir valley. Some are favor of separate township for KP's in valley, other opposing for it. Some wants KP's returned with full security, others says they should returned to their native place, in spite of new township, announced by Government of India. KP's are protesting against those who are opposing the return and rehabilitation of the displaced community members in a composite township in Kashmir Valley.
“We have decided to observe shutdown in Jagti township tomorrow in protest against those in Kashmir who opposed the settlement of KPs in a proposed township in Kashmir Valley,” president, Jagti Tenement Committee, Shadi Lal Pandita said today. Jagti is the biggest township of KPs with nearly 5,000 quarters located in Nagrota in outskirts of Jammu city. All political parties and Bar Association have been appealed to support the shutdown and protest rally to be held at Jagti, he said.
The police authorities concerned have been requested to observe proper check during the shutdown to defeat nefarious designs of anti-social elements to ensure peaceful shutdown in Jagti migrant camp.

Royal family's two sons enter J&K LC
The two sons of senior Congress leader Karan Singh, of the royal Dogra family, were among the eight new members of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council who took oath of the House today. Ajatshatru Singh (BJP) and Vikramaditya Singh (PDP) are the sons of Karan Singh got chair in council. Two Prince from one family but with different political party taking part in politics of J&K.
